Most same-day requests come from a deadline: a closing tomorrow, a lease ending Friday, a tenant moving in Monday, an inspection this afternoon. Duke's runs two yards specifically so a crew can be staged near your side of the metro and reach you the same day rather than the next week.

Three things speed it up dramatically. First, send a photo — it removes the need for a walkthrough. Second, give us your ZIP code so we can dispatch from the nearer yard. Third, make sure the items are accessible: driveway, garage, curb, or an unlocked room.
If a gate code, lockbox, or building access is involved, tell us up front. Access problems are the single most common reason a same-day slot slips.

Hours are Monday–Friday 9:30a–4:00p and Saturday 10a–3p. That Saturday window is the reason a lot of weekend cleanouts end with a Duke's run instead of a pile in the garage.
